More of their “back to the known” sound; fast, melodic, driving hardcore that served as a blueprint for millions of copycat punk bands in the nineties. The thing is, these bands seem to have in turn influenced the 7 Seconds. This is good music, but sometimes it sounds routined to the point of a cliché. Still, if you're out for fast melodic hardcore, you can't go wrong with this. [7]

Die Seconds ziehen ihren Sound genau so stur durch wie andere Dinosaurier des Punk (Ramones, Bad Religion, Descendents). Sie haben ja auch ihren Einfluss auf Millionen von Trittbrettfahrern in den Neunzigern gehabt - komisch ist nur, dass diese Bands wiederum die 7 Seconds beeinflusst zu haben scheinen. Gute Musik, ohne Zweifel, aber manchmal klingt das schon klischeehaft routiniert. Wer auf melodischen, schnellen Hardcore steht, kann hier trotzdem nichts falsch machen.
