Approx. 25000 pressed, 200 on red vinyl (1987). Canadian and UK license pressings. + lyric sheet. CD version has one extra track (not very good, really); + lyric booklet. Early CDs have the LP cover design, newer copies have a new sleeve design.
This album marks their departure from hardcore, and many people hated them for it, but it's actually not that bad at all. Even more melodic and pop influenced than before, and the dreaded U2 harmonies are starting to show here and there. Still, this is a good hardcore LP, even with some hits, and on the four tracks produced by Ian MacKaye they almost sound like a “real” DC band. [7]
Tracks: the night away / new wind / somebody help me scream / tied up in rhythm / grown apart / man enough to care / opinion of feelings // the inside / calender / expect to change / still believe / put these words to music / just one day (/ color blind jam)
