Limited LP versions on red and white vinyl; “black and white” edition with b&w sleeve and colored vinyl, 1000 made, 200 are signed by the band.

As the title suggests, these are demos the band recorded between 1980 and 1986 (I don't know about the “complete” part, though…). The first four songs are from a 1980 rehearsal and show a very early version of their sound, crude and noisy, but already with some unusual harmonies - very interesting. The next four are demos for the “blue album” that don't sound too different to the final versions, except for the thinner recording. The next five are very noisy versions of LP tracks (“Do the Eddie” is unreleased, not too bad, but it's obvious why this was never properly recorded/released). “Richard Hung Himself” is a demo version for the title song of the first D.I. 12”. The last two are demos for the Brats In Battalions LP, good songs but I like the LP versions better. A nice collection for fans, but if you're new to this band, check out their other records first. Demos der genialen OC-Band. Die ersten vier Songs sind eigentlich die interessantesten: Proberaumaufnahmen von 1980, die eine sehr frühe und krachige Version ihres Sounds zeigen, aber schon einige Adolescents-typische Harmonien aufweisen - interessant. Die übrigen Tracks sind dann hauptsächlich Demos für die ersten beiden LPs, die sich bis auf den schlechteren Sound nicht wesentlich von den bekannten Versionen unterscheiden; nur “Do the Eddie” ist ein unbekannter Song, nicht schlecht, aber ein bisschen sehr einfach - wurde nicht ohne Grund nie richtig aufgenommen. Gute Platte für Fans, zum Einsteigen sind die anderen LPs besser.
