Since it took them 17 years to get back together after 1988's Balboa Fun Zone LP they have already missed several rounds of punk revival, so let's hope they got their share from this one, they've certainly deserved it. This of course can't be no second “blue album”, but the good thing is that they know that and just deliver a solid reunion album. Melodic hardcore punk in the typical DI/Adolescents style, just a little slower and more rock influenced than before. These guys created the blueprint for all the faceless punk clones, and you can still tell why. [8]

Auch die alten Recken von den Adolescents machen sich noch mal auf, um nicht die letzten Dollars des Punk-Re-re-re-revivals zu verpassen. Sei's drum, sie haben es verdient. Gut produzierter, melodischer Hardcore-Punk, der natürlich nicht mehr die Durchschlagkraft der alten DI/Adolescents-Sachen hat; alles ist etwas rockiger und gesetzter. Trotzdem ist das noch immer das Original und hat in Sound und Attitude wenig mit den glattgebügelten Punk-Clones der Charts zu tun. Gut.
