RI (10”): frontier. / 4 tracks / 2006
Original comes either in two-color glossy sleeve or in a plain black hole sleeve. Unknown number pressed but 500 (a number I have heard before) is definitely too low (5000?). UK reissue with original labels and cover. There’s no Overground logo or anything, but they did it. Violet vinyl, 2000 made, numbered on back cover, this is where it differs from the original. First 100 copies seem to be hand numbered, the rest is stamped (there might be more than 2000, this really shows up a lot - check the numbers. Frontier was still selling this in 2006 so I’m sure it was repressed again along the way). Original pressing tools were used, additional numbers in the inner grooves: R 7354 / 7355. Tracks reissued on German version of the first LP. 10” reissue (first pressing on white vinyl, second on clear) has one extra track, the original demo version of “Richard hung himself” (later covered by D.I.) from the Complete Demos LP.
Loud driving LA hardcore punk, a classic. Most interesting track here is Things start Moving; weird space punk rock. [8]
L.A. muss damals voll gewesen sein von Bands wie dieser: laut, wütend, treibend. Absoluter Gewinner dieser 7” ist “Things start moving”, eine Art Space-Punk-Rock-Hymne mit göttlichem Mittelteil.
