It can’t be a coincidence that AOD named their worst LP after a movie that was one of the biggest box office failures of all time. When they took the speed and the noise out of their music for the previous LPs it still worked in a melodic punk rock sort of way, but this album is just a collection of non-starters. Some good ideas, but no real hits. Disappointing. [5]

Vorbei sind die Zeiten der Kreissägengitarre, der Weg der “Cruising…”-LP wird weitergegangen, leider eine Etage tiefer in den Keller. Nichts zündet richtig, Rohrkrepierer an Rohrkrepierer - und das, obwohl Ideen vorhanden sind. Das einzige Stück mit dem üblichen AOD Tempo haben Queen schon im Original besser hingekriegt. Den einzigen Standard, den sie wirklich halten, ist die Spieldauer, die mit knapp 30 Minuten wie üblich mager ausgefallen ist. Enttäuschend. (KS)
