Great powerful HC similar to early Bullet LaVolta combined with a little Seattle rock. Giant walls of guitar sounds, great blend of punk, hardcore, Sub Pop rock and the “Minnesota sound”. Power, drive, melodies and a great singer, too. Interesting, original, and don’t get me started on the great Jack Endino production. An overlooked masterpiece. [8]

Aaargh, so, genauso so hätte ich mir die neue Bullet-LaVolta-Platte gewünscht: eine mächtige Gitarrenwand; Punk, Hardcore, Rock und vor allem Minneapolis-Fee­ling friedlich vereint (ein bißchen Sub-Pop-Feedback darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen); ein Sänger, der das letzte gibt; Power, Drive und Melodien… super. Zudem ist das ganze noch rhythmisch sehr interessant und ab­wechslungsreich, und von der kompakten, sauberen En­dino-Produktion fange ich gar nicht erst an.
