+ lyric sheet. First press has yellow labels, repress has silver labels. US and German CD reissues add tracks from Bitchin Summer 12”. I also heard about a US CD with Symbol Six 12” bonus tracks but I can’t confirm. Rhino version (new sleeve design) adds Bloodstains 7”, Bitchin Summer 12” and an 1981 interview.

I never quite understood how they made their bizarre blend of surf, goth and punk work, but this is definitely a classic. Razor sharp guitar sound, cool surf beat, great melodies and Mike’s voice… perfect. Fantastic Posh Boy production, too. [9]  

Ich habe nie ganz begriffen, wie Surf und der (etwas aufgesetzte) Horrortrip der Band zusammenpassen… nun ja. Auf jeden Fall eins der Highlights auf dem Posh Boy Label; schneidende, rhythmische Gitarren, dazu der coole Surf-Beat (um-papa-um-pa), geniale Melodien und Mikes tolle Stimme… superb. Die fantastische Posh-Boy-Produktion tut ein übriges, um die Platte in die HC-Walhalla zu heben. Legende.
