“I was there… ” ist ein kultiger Killed-by-Death-Reißer, melodisch-krachiger Punk Rock mit schrägem Text. Die B-Seite fällt etwas ab, unverzerrte E-Gitarre, der Text ist allerdings ähnlich daneben wie beim Titelsong. Die A-Seite macht das Ding zum Klassiker.
