+ insert sheet. Back cover features liner notes by Bruce Pavitt of Sub Pop (just a fanzine back then). German version on Volt, different sleeve, some on white vinyl; also CD versions on Bomp (US, 1991) and Volt (D). I’m not sure about the Invasion/Bomp pressings, might be the same one.

LA comp. with punk and early hardcore classics from that area/era. Great selection although most tracks have been released elsewhere (some versions are unreleased, though). Highlights include Hypnotics, Adolescents, Rhino 39, Red Kross and Minutemen, but there are no real letdowns here, anyway. Great compilation. [7]  

LA-Sampler mit frühen HC-Highlights, gute, aber leider meist schon veröffentlichte Tracks, vereinzelt aber auch ungehörte Versionen. Ausfälle gibt es eigentlich nicht, da alle Bands sehr gut sind, herausragend noch Hypnotics, Adolescents, Rhino 39, Red Kross, Minutemen… Musikalisch bewegt man sich hauptsächlich im Gebiet des späten LA-Punks bzw. des jungen, aber noch sehr melodischen HC. Ein wirklich guter Sampler.
