Phoenix compilation that documents the punk and hardcore scene of the early 80s as well as the more experimental bands. Decent hardcore by JFA, Soylent Greene, Precious Secrets and the Meat Puppets (in the style of their early releases!), punk and similar stuff by Paris 1942, Killer Pussy, Teds and the Sun City Girls. The rest ranges from unlistenable new wave crap to genuinely interesting experimental sounds. Overall, a nice grab-bag. [7]

Ordentlicher Hardcore von JFA, Soylent Greene, Precious Secrets und den Meat Puppets (im Stil ihrer frühen Sachen!), Punk-ähnliches von Paris 1942, Killer Pussy, Teds und Sun City Girls. Der Rest bewegt sich zwischen absolut unanhörbarem New-Wave-Trash und wirklich interessanten Experimentalsounds. Insgesamt eine ganz lustige Mischung.
