Thrash/speedcore compilation on the yet unnamed label that would later turn into Earache. US bands are Hirax (decent speedcore with horrible metal vocals) and Sacrilege (speedcore/speedmetal with weirdly recorded, high-pitched vocals, not bad). The bands from Japan and England (Concrete Sox) have a rather traditional, noisy hardcore/fastcore approach without too much metal influence. Thrash aficionados will probably like it, but it's definitely a fan thing. [6]

Thrash-/Speedcore-Sampler auf einem namenlosen Label, das dann später zu Ear­ache wurde. An US-Bands gibt es Hirax (ordentlicher Speedcore mit furchtbaren Metal-Vibrato-Vocals) und Sacrilege (Speedcore/-metal mit merk­würdig auf­ge­nom­mener, sehr hoher Stimme). Die Japaner und Engländer lassen die Sache traditioneller, krachiger, hardcoriger und Metal-freier angehen. Thrash-Spezialisten werden sich freuen, aber es gibt in diesem Genre wahrlich besseres.
