A slap in the face of Los Angeles’ melodic punk/hardcore scene that centered around the Posh Boy labels and Rodney Bingenheimer’s ROQ radio show. Short angry and cynical punk blasts, still this is catchy as hell. Production matches the music - harsh and aggressive. Another classic. [9]  

Die Angry Samoans waren der Faustschlag in das Gesicht der Sommer-Sonne-Sex’n’Drugs-Szene von Los Angeles, auf vollem Gegenkurs zu Labeln wie Posh Boy und Leuten wie dem Radio-DJ Rodney ’On the Roq’ Bingenheimer, der sich sowieso im permanenten Kriegszustand mit der Band befand. Die Songs sind alle kurz, schnell und böse, trotzdem sind viele kleine Hits dabei, die sich sofort einprägen; die Texte sind gnadenlose Abrechnungen und haben den berühmten, manchmal schwerverdaulichen ’US-Punk’-Humor. Die Produktion paßt zur Musik, sehr scharf und aggressiv. Kult.
