First pressing (500-1000 made?) on Bad Trip in plain white sleeve.

Completely different to their old records - maybe they got tired of being the bad boys. A lot calmer and more introvert; also with some 60s influences. The west coast pop punk tracks work pretty well, the paisley pop songs are not that great… they haven’t really found their style yet. All in all, not bad. [6]  

Die Samoans mal ganz anders - nach den 1-Minuten-Bad-Taste-Attacken der früheren Tage gibt man sich hier etwas ruhiger, manchmal fast nachdenklich. Einige Songs sind schöne California-Pop-Punk-Tracks, andere haben einen recht starken Rock- oder 60s-Pop/Paisley-Einfluß, eine Stilrichtung, mit der die Band (vor allem der Sänger) noch nicht so recht klarkommt. Insgesamt aber eine gute Platte, vor allem wegen der punkigeren Tracks.
