Experimental punk from Ohio, with BPA (somewhat confused guitar noise with stomping beat), Cointelpro (similar stuff, but more diverse & better, the second song is “real” punk) and 11000 Switches (more stuff in the same vein, sounds a bit like the weirder side of Mission of Burma). Not too catchy but interesting stuff, and thank god they saved us from saxophones and cheap synths. [6]

Experimental-Punk aus Ohio; mit BPA (etwas verwirrtes Gitarrengetöse mit stampfendem Beat, geht so), Cointelpro (geht in die gleiche Richtung, ist aber abwechslungsreicher und besser; der zweite Song ist “richtiger” Punk) und 11000 Switches (und nochmal Experimental-Punk, erinnert etwas an die schrägeren Mission-of-Burma-Sachen; Haitian Vacation finde ich ganz gut). Insgesamt ganz ordentlich, weil die Musik ganz interessant und originell ist und uns die Bands mit den typischen Nerv-Elementen Saxophon und Billig-Synthi verschonen.
