Female grunge trio fronted by Kat Bjelland who proves to be an exceptional singer; evil screaming instead of aerial girly voice, but not in the L7-style “biker bitch” style either. Music is mid-tempo grunge rock, one of the better examples of that genre. (SS) [8]  

Das Besondere an diesem Damen-Terzett ist gewiß die Stimme von Kat Bjelland. Nix zartsäuselnder Jungmädchengesang, hier wird richtig dreckig rumgebrüllt, ohne aber so bikerschlampenmäßig zu klingen wie etwa L7. Die Musik ist wohl dem Grunge der mittelschnellen Gangart zuzurechnen, jedenfalls ist diese Platte von vorne bis hinten durchgehend gut. (SS)
