Before we can talk about this record, you need to understand that this is not a punk record. It's a dub reggae record. Dub reggae is probably the farthest a musical genre could be from punk (well, apart from classical, or ambient music). Dub is very laid back, trippy, and there are no vocals; there's a basic reggae rhythm and on top of that there are tape loops, noises, fragments of songs, electronic effects etc. The tracks are basically remixes of other tracks, and many reggae 7”s had dub versions of the A side on the flip. So this is what this is - not another Bad Brains album, but sort of a dub reggae remix album. And for that, it's pretty good. There are some power chords strewn in here and there, but mainly this is nothing but dub. But - good dub. [7]

Bevor man überhaupt anfängt, über diese Platte zu reden, muss man mal klarstellen, dass das hier keineswegs eine neue Bad Brains-Platte ist, sondern ein Dub-Reggae-Album - also entspannte Reggae-Rhythmen ohne Gesang, dafür mit allen möglichen elektronischen Effekten, Tapeloops usw. Ab und zu gibt es noch einen Powerchord zu hören, aber das ist wirklich die Ausnahme. Also - Dub und kein Punk, aber für Dub ist die Platte ziemlich ordentlich.
