Like anybody else at that time they got their major label contract, too. Production is top notch, music and creativity isn't. Basically picks up where Quickness left off, but they have moved much further into the mainstream. Two (good) hardcore tracks, two reggae tunes, lots of rhythmic, but ultimately uninteresting rock songs, plus two or three good non-hardcore tracks. That's OK, but not enough. [6]

Wie (fast) alle anderen Bands zu dieser Zeit bekamen auch die Bad Brains ihre Chance auf einem Major-Label, und wie bei (fast) allen anderen wurde es dann doch nix mit dem großen Erfolg. Exzellente Produktion, aber die Musik lässt an Originalität zu wünschen übrig. Macht ungefähr da weiter, wo Quickness aufgehört hat, geht aber noch deutlich weiter in Richtung Mainstream. Nur zwei (gute) Hardcore-Songs, zwei echte Reggae-Stücke, viele rhythmische, aber letztendlich nicht sonderlich interessante Rocksongs und einige wenige gute nicht-HC-Songs. Das ist OK, aber nicht genug.
