Great LP by these masters of melodic hardcore punk. Wonderful choruses, great melodies, and again: some innovation (just listen to that slide guitar in “Man with a mission”!), but no revolution. If you liked the other albums, you’ll love this one. [10]

Nach dem leichten Formtief “Generator” gibt es hier wieder alles, was diese Band besser kann als jede andere: unglaubliche Chöre, fantastische Melodien und eine sehr kompakte und druckvolle Produktion. Beim Songwriting gibt es diesmal kaum Ausfälle, Songs wie Portrait of Authority, American Jesus und vor allem Man with a Mission (mit wunderschöner Slide-Guitar) sind 100%ige Hits. Schnelle und gemäßigtere Tracks halten sich die Waage, aber auch die rockigeren Stücke haben echte Klasse.
