3 Japanese bands & WHN from the US celebrate the 80s hardcore scene. Good & fast thrashcore by Lie and Crucial Section (who sound a lot like DRI on their 2^nd LP), Attitude Adjustment-style hardcore by WHN and some less inspiring but well-produced hardcore by FG. Good. [7]

Flexis und Cover mit Schreibmaschinentext sind total 80s - genau wie die Musik auf diesem Sampler. Verbeugung vor den damaligen Größen wie DRI, Heresy usw. Mit Flash Gordon (recht gut produzierter, aber ansonsten relativ uninteressanter HC), Lie (Schneller und krachiger HC, gut!), Crucial Section (schneller HC mit etwas Metaleinfluß, erinnert an DRI auf der 2. LP) und What Happens Next (80s-Speedcore-Revival-Könige). WHN sind die einzige US-Band, die anderen kommen aus Japan.
