homestead records. 111 / 6 tracks / 1988
First album by the ex-Squirrelbait band who at this point were just D. Grubbs and C. Johnson. For the lack of fellow musicians they use a drum computer which - along with the aggressive, edgy guitars and the shouted vocals - makes this sound very similar to early Big Black records. Fine with me, but Big Black did this before (and better), so let’s just file this under “early works” [6].
