Debut 7” by the skate and funk core gods from Texas. They found their style already; title track is punk/hardcore with a catchy melody; Heartbeat is jazzy and slightly angular guitar stuff, Movies is in between the first two songs, and Mutant Rock is (almost) a hardcore track with good guitar sound. Great blend of hardcore, jazzy guitar punk and melodic punk rock. [9]

Erste 7” der texanischen Funk-Core-Götter. Schon hier ist die musikalische Bandbreite schon fast voll entwickelt, nix da krachiges Frühwerk oder so… Der Titelsong ist recht punkig/hardcorig und hat eine schöne Mitsing-Melodie. Heartbeat ist eine der etwas schrägen und jazzigen Gitarrennummern; Movies liegt im Sound ziemlich genau zwischen den ersten beiden Tracks, und Mutant Rock ist eigentlich schon ein HC-Song mit schön swingender Gitarre. Toll, wie eigentlich alles von dieser Band.
