Sound quality is above average, but not great.

1983 demos by Black Flag, what else do I have to say? These versions tend to be rougher, angrier and dirtier than the final versions that showed up on various LPs between 83 and 85, which in many cases is a huge improvement. If they had released this LP as their final album instead of three rather uninteresting records in 1985, they would be gods today. Well, they are anyway. Sound quality is far from perfect, but good enough to enjoy this a lot. [8]

Die 83er-Demos von Black Flag; viele der später langweilig und klebrig dahindümpelnden Songs klingen hier noch frisch, dreckig und hasserfüllt. Hätten sie mal diese Demos statt drei mittelmäßiger LPs im Jahr 1985 veröffentlicht… die Welt würde sie mit anderen Augen sehen.
