Their final studio release, published 3 years after they had disbanded. These tracks were recorded in 1985, at the same time as the In My Head LP, so I guess you could call them outtakes, at least that’s what they sound like: Outtakes of a record that was mediocre to begin with. Uninspired music by a band that apparently hated each other’s guts, playing against each other instead of together. There is an outlandish, unreal, psychotic quality to this material, so it’s kind of interesting to listen to these final songs by a once great band. “Out of this world” is the only faster punk track on this, the rest is just… I don’t know, check it out for yourself. Letzte und merkwürdigste Studioplatte der einstigen Helden. Uninspiriert und zerfahren, man hat das Gefühl, dass die Musiker gegeneinander statt miteinander spielen (und so war das wohl auch gegen Ende). Das gibt dem Ganzen eine unwirkliche, psychotische Qualität, die das Anhören schon wieder ganz interessant macht. Kompletter Fehlzünder.
