Like tons of other bands, Bum Kon discovered rock music in the mid-80s, so their second LP is heavily speed metal influenced. The faster tracks work quite well, though, definitely better than their previous LP - tight, powerful, but also somewhat clichéd. The foundation of the music is still hardcore, though, and some of the tracks are actually quite interesting (like the diverse title track). It's a grab bag of good and bad, slow and fast tracks and different styles, but it's not all bad. Space Truckin is a Deep Purple cover version. [6]

Wie ungefähr zehntausend andere Bands fanden auch Bum Kon Mitte der 80er zum Metal, so dass ihre zweite LP einen guten Schuss Speedmetal abbekommen hat. Grundlage ist aber nach wie vor Hardcore, und die Metalkomponente macht die Musik eher kraftvoller und kompakter, wenn auch viele Songs ziemlich stereotyp wirken. Im Ganzen wirkt die LP etwas uneinheitlich, aber ein paar gute Songs sind schon dabei. In jedem Fall besser als das vorige Album.
