The band couldn’t decide between three album titles so they used all three. First pressing on Touch and Go is on clear vinyl. The later UK version has a different cover sleeve; the Fundamental CD also includes the Cream Corn 12”, with alternate song titles for half of the EP songs. (“Comb” is renamed “Lou Reed” and “To Parter” is listed as “Two Part”). In the US, the Cream Corn tracks were instead added to the Rembrandt Pussyhorse CD and cassette.
The first “real” LP. Without the total chaos of their first EP and without the musical abilities of their subsequent releases this falls somewhere in the middle. I don’t know, it’s OK, it’s weird, there are good tracks, but out of their indie releases it’s got to be my least favorite Butthole Surfers album. [7]
