Both bands play extremely gloomy stuff, crust core with some Neurosis touch, but without the artsy edge. Catharsis (a pre-LP demo) have some more dynamics, louder and quieter parts, Gehenna (live CBGB’s) have a better singer - at least in my opinion. [7]

Die Catharsis-Seite (Studio) ist extrem düsterer, naja, Crustcore sage ich mal. Für diese Sparte relativ abwechslungsreich, kein reines Gebretter, sondern auch leisere, langsamere Passagen. Neurosis ist ein erster Anhaltspunkt, aber Catharsis sind längst nicht so symphonisch. Gehenna haben auf ihrer Live-Seite einen ähnlichen Sound, sind aber durchweg schleppender und rhythmisch etwas interessanter; auch die Stimme gefällt mir etwas besser. OK für Pessimisten, mit leichtem Vorsprung für Gehenna.
