First (only) vinyl pressing: 320 copies, 22 on purple, 298 on grey vinyl. Silk screened and hand numbered sleeves, with yellow, green or blue sleeve plus blue on clear vellum. Japanese CD reissue has one bonus track.

Their first LP (actually re-recordings of previously available songs) is a masterpiece of metallic hardcore. More on the hardcore side than their subsequent albums, influenced by gloomy bands like His Hero is Gone, although Cave In already have their complex prog-rock edge here (and the metal influence is stronger, too). If you’re into intelligent metallic hardcore there’s no way around Cave In’s first two LPs. [9]

Gleich die erste LP ist ein Geniestreich. Noch etwas hardcoriger als die folgenden LPs, man spürt den Einfluß von düsteren Bands wie His Hero is Gone, Cave In haben aber schon hier ihren komplexen, space-rockigen Einschlag, auch der Metaleinfluß ist größer als bei HHIG. Wer auf anspruchsvollen, metallastigen Hardcore steht, kann sich die ersten beiden LPs bedenkenlos kaufen.
