RI: ace & duce records. / 1995
#1 - Upper left corner of the cover says “2-78”, back cover says “first limited edition”. Copies are numbered up to 200, with all kinds of silly writings on the inside of the PS. Prior to the first batch of numbered copies, there were 26 lettered copies (“A”-“Z”). #2 - Second batch of 200, upper left corner of the cover says “3-78”, back cover says “second limited edition”. No numbering or writings. #3 - “20 year anniversary” reissue with a light yellow PS, 100 made, with booklet. The band claimed that this was a box of originals with an alternate sleeve they had found but if you compare the labels side by side you can see that it’s a repress (check breakmyface.com for pictures). The band later added a stamp to the front sleeve (see picture).
A-side is a great, raw studio effort. B-side is a live track recorded 10/7/77 at their second gig. The songs from this single probably won’t stick in your head like the two from their second single, but still incredible. (RA) [8] One of the first records of the Killed by Death boom of the 1990s. CM are a typical band of this kind, raw, noisy punk rock with some catchy melodies. A side is a hit, B side is live & much too long. (bj) [7]
(bj)
