A truly unique record by an equally unique band; influences range from 70’s glam, hard rock and early punk to sci-fi and industrial sounds. I wouldn’t call any but the first two tracks “Punk”, and I suppose the purists will cringe at the thought of synth soundscapes and experimental tape loops that take a lot more room. But if you’re not limited to the usual KBD punk you should at least check this out once - it’s a truly courageous, important, entertaining record. And by the way, I can’t believe all those Disco Punk bands still haven’t covered “Slip it to the Android” yet. [8]
