Unusual sleeve, format, vinyl color… the music is a bit more conventional. Clairmel play solid hardcore with obvious influences from the emo and mid-80s DC sound, HWM play melodic punk which owes a lot to the Fat Wreck sound but also has the tight production of NY mosh bands. HWM are pretty good. [7]

Ungewöhnliches Cover, ungewöhnliches Format, ungewöhnliche Vinylfarbe… schöne Aufmachung. Clairmel bieten soliden Hardcore mit Einflüssen der Emo- und DC-Schule, Hot Water Music liegen irgendwo zwischen melodischem Fat Wreck-Sound und massivem NY-Mosh-Sound. Nicht so ausgefallen, wie das Äußere vermuten läßt, aber HWM gefallen mir ganz gut.
