10000 made on black vinyl; 1000 on orange vinyl plus bonus 12” and a poster. 300 copies on blue vinyl without 12”. Japanese press on black vinyl with bonus flexi. 850 made of the German bootleg of the bonus 12”.

Monster compilation with over 50 minutes of music. US bands featured are 7 Seconds (2 LP tracks with a slightly different mix), Siege (their only release during their existence; three great & brutal hardcore classics, the mix is not as rough as on their demo, though), COC (good hardcore, no metal/crossover influence yet), Poison Idea (good & rough hardcore punk) and Septic Death (2 previously released songs with new “howled” vocals, but great as always). Most of the other bands play ultrafast, but sort of generic hardcore. The limited bonus 12” has some more good tracks: A great COC track (one of their best!), an Iggy Pop cover version by Poison Idea plus some Euro hardcore tracks. [7]

Monster-Sampler von Amerikas Speedcore-Liebhaber Nr.1 mit über 50 Minuten Spielzeit. An US-Bands haben wir die 7 Seconds (2 LP-Titel in etwas anderem Mix), Siege (3 genial schnelle und brutale Songs, leider ist der Mix nicht so krachig wie beim Demo), COC (guter HC, noch ohne Crossover), Poison Idea (ordentlicher, dreckiger Hardcore Punk) und die Altmeister Septic Death (2 bekannte + gute Tracks mit anderen, irgendwie heulenden Vocals). Die anderen europäischen, japanischen und australischen Bands sind zumeist der übliche HC-Overkill - schnell, derbe, ohne Melodie - für den, der’s mag, gut, aber nix Besonderes. Insgesamt eine interessante und auch gute Platte, vor allem wegen Siege, und für Fans der anderen Bands sicherlich empfehlenswert. Auf der Bonus-12” noch ein toller COC-Track, mit das Beste, was sie gemacht haben; dann noch mal Poison Idea mit einem Iggy-Track, Part 1 mit dem üblichen Sound und noch einige europäische HC-Tracks. Schön.
