First Broken Rekids release; with Blister (rhythmic hardcore with jazz and rock influences), Sabat (more jazz core, just bass & drums, complex rhythms, great), Assassins of God (the other Nomeansno, hectic, jumpy, diverse hardcore), and Tinnitus (reminds me a lot of the catchier songs by the Minutemen). Good experimental hardcore without getting artsy or tiring. [7]

Sampler mit 4 Bands, die eher in die Richtung “Artcore” gehen: Blister (rhythmischer HC mit Jazz- und Rockeinflüssen, vielen Rhythmuswechseln etc, hat trotzdem Power; etwas muffiger Sound, ansonsten gut), Sabat (ziemlich jazzig, nur Bass und Drums, unzählige Taktwechsel, trotzdem hörbar & sehr gut), Assassins of God (“die anderen Nomeansno”, quirliger, zappeliger und abwechslungsreicher HC mit dem nötigen Schuß Jazz in Gitarre und Drums, gut) und Tinnitus (klingt sehr nach den eingängigeren Sachen der Minutemen). Interessant & gut, und längst nicht so anstrengend, wie das hier klingt.
