F: new rose records. rose 39 / 11 tracks / 1984

Yikes. Their final LP is strongly influenced by boring and old-fashioned r’n’r, in many songs the punk influence is pretty low. In addition to that they’ve used one of those really cheap-sounding drum synths on most tracks, sounds terrible. 2 or 3 tracks are still OK, the rest is crap. [3]

Ziemlicher Fehltritt der einstmals recht guten Band; sehr starker Ätz-Rock’n’Roll-Einfluß, bei einigen Songs ist so gut wie nichts mehr vom Punk zu spüren. Zudem verwendet die Band bei vielen Songs einen dieser alten nervigen Billigst-Drum-Synthis, was ziemlich übel kommt. Ein paar Songs sind trotzdem nicht übel, man spürt manchmal noch was vom alten Feeling; aber abgesehen von diesen 2 oder 3 Tracks kann man diese LP getrost vergessen.
