The debut release by the Lincoln, Nebraska, “band” is basically a one man show; Jim Jacobi recorded most of it by himself before the Crap Detectors turned into a real band. Most of this is rather garagey rocknroll or blues rock than genuine punk, but the noisy production and the dirty guitar sound make it worth the while. A couple of tracks also show CD’s experimental side, with synth sounds and noise collages. Overall, an interesting but not spectacular LP. [6]
