One source claims 2000 made but I’m not sure.

I don’t know the story behind this compilation from Boston, but it sure has the most bizarre lineup I have ever seen. First is Bebe Bueller who is none other than Liv Tyler’s mother (and ex-Playmate, by the way), with some kind of Blondie meets Aerosmith rock song (but it’s not that bad really). Then we have the Bags (noisy but powerful garage punk), Das Furlines (I can’t even start to describe this, completely weird), Limbo Race (New Wavish rock, well, OK), Willie Alexander (old school rock, boring), Space Negros (weird, noisy, funny), The Lemonheads (one good song, starts melodic and turns hardcore, and one cover version), Classic Ruins (bluesy college rock), The Brood (60’s pop/surf sound). A grab bag, really, but quite entertaining. [6]

Seltsamer Sampler, der einen mit vielen Fragezeichen zurücklässt: Was hat Liv Tylers Mutti Bebe Bueller auf einem Boston-Indie-Sampler zu suchen? Wie beschreibe ich die bizarre Musik von Das Furlines oder den Space Negros? Wieso gibt es Willie Alexander immer noch? Die für eine Punk-Discographie relevanten Tracks kommen jedenfalls von den Bags (rauher, aber kraftvoller Garagenpunk mit 60’s-Schuss) und den Lemonheads (ein schöner melodischer Track, der Richtung Hardcore mutiert und eine weniger interessante Coverversion). Lustige Mischung.
