Back in 1986 this was an innovative blend of NY hardcore (roughness, speed, vocals) and speedmetal (guitar solos, production). Millions copied that sound later, but these guys were among the pioneers. Fast and powerful, but you need to be able to stand the metal guitars. [7]

Eine der LPs, an der sich damals die Geister schieden. Für die einen war der Mix aus NYHC und Metal das allergrößte, die anderen fanden es unerträglich. Insgesamt ist die Musik noch deutlich auf der Hardcore-Seite, vor allem der Sänger hat eine “echte” NY-Stimme. Der Metaleinfluß äußert sich in den Gitarrensolos und der Metal-Produktion. In dieser Kombination war das innovativ, insofern ist diese Platte schon ein Meilenstein.
