1195 black copies came with FLEX! #6 in a plain white sleeve; at least one mispressed copy with a plain white B side label. 100 additional copies on black vinyl sent to Malcolm at TPOS with zines; those have a special “Look at all the codgers now” sleeve that he made. 133 copies sold w/o zine through TPOS with a sleeve that i designed (see picture), various cover paper colors (green, red, white). Eight different vinyl colors: 68 turquoise with blue/black veins, 8 on fluorescent yellow, 5 on yellow with blue veins, 10 on salmon, 11 on salmon with blue veins, 3 on orange/red, 17 on red with blue veins, 3 on red/blue/black marbled (plus 8 on black; Malcolm claims I did another numbered sleeve for those, but I don’t remember). No test pressings. [I can’t believe I had my own record in FLEX with a wrong title for 12 years. “The Way it Was” - what was I thinking? And why didn’t anybody tell me? And why didn’t I mention Malcolm at all? Sometimes I’m just not thinking.]

Bonus 7” for Flex #6 with old Connecticut demo & live tracks, compiled by CT scene mogul Malcolm TPOS (thanks!). My faves are Shyster Shyster & Flywheel (ex-76% Uncertain in the style of their old band) and Reflex from Pain (demo track); Violent Children have a live track which is noisy but good. The only song I don’t really like is the Dead City (ex-Lost Generation) track which is mainly rock music. [7]

Bonus-7” zum Flex #6 mit den Connecticut-Veteranen Reflex from Pain (Demotrack, guter Old-School-HC), Violent Children (ein etwas krachiger Livetrack), Shyster Shyster & Flywheel (guter Hardcore der ex-76%Uncertain im Stil ihrer alten Band), Dead Cities (ein sehr rockiger Track der ex-Lost Generation, nich so doll). Ist eher was für Sammler und Fans, aber dafür war’s auch gedacht, und die Musik ist trotzdem gut.
