First release by the pre-Neanderthal/Man is the Bastard band, recorded without any guitars (just Wood’s bass), still this is extremely powerful. Atmospheric, noisy, monstrous, grinding slow-core with a psychotic edge; rhythmically this could be compared to Bl’ast. Great record, great Independent Project Press sleeve. [8]

Sehr atmosphärisches Werk der californischen Truppe, klingt ein bißchen nach Bl’ast; schleppender, monströser, krachiger Slowcore. Ein bißchen spielt auch der psychotisch-egozentrische DC-Sound mit rein, ansonsten aber ein ziemlich einzigartiger, aber durchaus sehr hörbarer Sound. Dazu noch das fantastische Gold-Prägecover aus den Independent Project Press Werkstätten… Killer.
