Danzig’s last major label album. The first track delivers exactly the Danzig/Misfits/hardrock sound you’d expect; but the rest of the album is quite different. Several eerie horror ballads, two noisier industrial-like songs, and some more experimental tracks. Overall, this is a lot calmer than the previous records, and I guess it’s a matter of taste if you prefer that over his earlier solo works; however, there’s no doubt that this never reaches the genius of the Misfits. Die letzte Major-LP für Onkel Glenn; der erste Song ist noch das, was man von ihm erwartet - düsterer Hardrock mit Misfits-Einschlag -, aber der Rest der Songs ist wesentlich düsterer, ruhiger und experimenteller. Ein paar Horror-Balladen, ein paar Industrial-Songs… ist wohl Geschmackssache, ob man das besser findet als seine straighteren Rocksongs; aber unbestritten ist wohl, dass das nicht mal in die Nähe der Misfits-Releases kommt.
