US version is CD-only, regular cover is full-color; limited b&w cover was sold over the internet only. Nuclear Blast LP edition on picture disc, CD promos have same track order. Regular Nuclear Blast CD copies have different track order (first track moved to #3).
Louder and more rocking again than the very calm Danzig 4; most of the songs are dragging and rather slow though. Not a big problem, what’s more annoying is that they used too many digital and synth effects that - in most cases - don’t really fit. That along with the rather uninteresting songwriting makes this a pretty boring album. [5]
Wieder lauter und rockiger als die doch etwas sehr ruhige Danzig 4-CD, die meisten Songs sind allerdings ziemlich langsam und schleifend. Weniger bluesig als die früheren Solo-LPs, dafür mit mehr Industrial-Einfluss à la Godflesh. Nervig sind die vielen Digital- und Synthi-Effekte, die in den meisten Fällen unpassend und überflüssig sind. Insgesamt eine eher langweilige Platte.
