LA compilation with mostly experimental music; a lot of this is just unlistenable artsy synth junk, but there are some interesting avantgarde bands, too (Jad Fair, Airway and a few others). Two boring angular art punk tracks by Human Hands and BPeople, and just one truly great punk song by 45 Grave (but that one is also on their Autopsy LP). [6]

Eine Bestandsaufnahme der LA-Experimental-Szene. Einige Sa­chen fallen eindeutig in die Artsy-fartsy-Kategorie, schwer erträgliches Gejaule eben. Andere sind recht interessant, irgendwie ver­trackt poppig bzw. Residents-mäßig, krach-poppig (Jad Fair) oder schön lärmend (Airway). Die Punk-Fraktion ist eigentlich nur durch 45 Grave (bekannter Song), Human Hands und BPeople (beide mit etwas nervigen, schrägen Punksongs) vertreten. Insgesamt nicht uninteressant, allerdings eher wegen der experimentellen Seite, der Punkanteil lohnt die Anschaffung nicht.
