1000 made. + lyric poster. First copies had hand made sleeves. A two-sided acetate of the final version was sold on Ebay in 2005, seller claimed there were about 3 copies.

Released in 1981, this slab delivers some of the hardest and most driving hardcore-punk I have ever heard. Played very well and powerful, this record was ahead of its time. Most impressive to me is how they manage to avoid becoming generic while using organs and the singer going absolutely nuts on some tracks - this has become the typical D.A.-style. The one thing really bad about this band is that they have very stupid lyrics that are probably supposed to be ironic or something but totally fail as a parody and can only be read as racist and sexist bullshit. Die erste Platte von Dayglow Abortions war ihrer Zeit eigentlich voraus: treibender, harter Punk, der sich immer wieder zu Hardcore-Attacken auswächst. Für 1981 dermaßen sauber und routiniert eingespielt, daß es auch heute noch überrascht., wie die Band trotz aller Aggressivität und Hektik meilenweit von musikalischen Klischees entfernt bleibt: Orgeln, Schlaghölzer und völlig abgedrehter Gesang geben allem den unverwechselbaren DA-Stil. Einfach meisterhaft! Einziger Minuspunkt sind die teilweise primitiven Texte, sexistischer und rassistischer Müll, der vielleicht ironisch gemeint war, der in der Ironie aber völlig versagt und nur noch übelste Kacke reproduziert.
