I'm not a big fan of live albums, I usually have the feeling that the bands deliver their message in a better and tighter way when they have full control over the sound in a studio. This CD (recorded in 1979) is a pretty good record, though; the sound is crystal clear and powerful, there are interesting, seldomly-heard songs, a disco version of Kill the Poor, two unreleased cover versions and an entirely unreleased DK song (“Gaslight”). While the latter may not be a match for their hits of that era, the whole album is fun to listen to - at least if you're a fan and need new fodder. [7]

Ordentliches Livealbum, aufgenommen 1979 im kurzlebigen Deaf Club in San Francisco. Der Sound ist kristallklar und trotzdem kraftvoll, es gibt selten gehörte Songs wie Short Songs oder Straight As zu hören, dazu eine Discoversion von Kill the Poor, zwei unveröffentlichte Coverversionen und sogar einen unbekannten DK-Song (Gaslight). Auch wenn letzterer keiner ihrer großen Momente ist, macht die Platte Spaß, vor allem dann, wenn man als Fan ihre anderen Platten schon auswendig kennt.
