+ lyric sheet. Feat. Lou Barlow and J. Mascis (Dinosaur Jr). Their bass player (Scott) also played for the Outpatients. Original plays on 45, most (or all) bootlegs on 33. The first US bootleg is very well made, down to the lyric sheet & labels, but the sleeve opens to the side while the original sleeve opens at the top. A side label of the original has the track names and Radiobeat logo. B side label has a picture of a man and the band logo. Matrix numbers are RB-002 A and B, and there is a MASTERDISK stamp in both runout grooves. This is hard to copy, so this is probably a good sign of authenticity. 500 made of the German bootleg, blue vinyl. Another bootleg on red vinyl, circa 2005. I heard about another US bootleg, early 90s, cheap xerox sleeve, black vinyl, 33 rpm, no insert, pressed at United (U…. number in dead wax).

Ultrafast & complex rhythms, cool breaks, expert drumming, Lou’s crazy voice and a lot of psychotic power make up one of the best (if not the best) EPs of the decade. Absolutely essential. Lost & Found CD adds 2 tracks from the „Bands that could be God“ comp. LP and seven tracks from the first demo tape. These are pretty rough but already fast & furious; but the manic touch of the 7“ tracks is missing. [10]

Absoluter Klassiker, rasende Drums, komplexer Rhythmus, atemberaubende Breaks, dazu Lou’s irrsinnige Stimme - Jahrhundertplatte. Die Krönung ist das letzte Stück, das nach diesem Inferno sehr ruhig / traurig wirkt. (Auf der L&F-CD noch die beiden Trax vom „Bands that Could be God“-Sampler und als Extrabonus sieben Songs des ersten Demotapes. Das klingt dann doch noch sehr einfach, hat aber schon die typisch rasende Geschwindigkeit. 1A-Old School HC, dem allerdings der manische Touch der Single fehlt.)
