Every once in a while, there is a new band that makes the old 1983-style hardcore sound like it’s just been invented. Demise manage to pull that off; and there’s nothing trendy or “copied” in their music. Noisy, ultrafast, brutal, angry hardcore à la Infest or Siege, great. [8]

Hin und wieder kommt zwischen all den langweiligen und abgedroschenen Platten eine HC-Scheibe im ureigensten Sinn angeflattert; ultraschnell, wütend, brutal und megakrachig. Und daran ist hier auch nichts aufgesetztes oder trendmäßiges, die Musik kommt ehrlich und direkt. Ist zwar alles schon dagewesen, trotzdem wirkt das frisch wie anno ’83. Super!
