The Descendents show us how to age in dignity… Eight years after their previous album, their music hasn't changed much. Everything's a bit slower, more melodic, more introspective, but the basic structure is still the same. More Bad Religion than New Bomb Turks this time, still this is a great LP. [7]

Wie die Ramones oder Bad Religion ziehen die Descendents stur ihr Ding durch, auch wenn sie nur alle Jubeljahre eine neue Platte machen. Seit Everything Sucks hat sich nicht viel geändert; alles ist zwar eine Spur langsamer, melodischer und beschaulicher, aber die Grundstruktur ist die gleiche wie immer. Nur der Garagenpunk-Einfluss ist (leider?) melodischen, mehrstimmigen Bad-Religion-Vocals gewichen. Gute Platte.
