tremor records. tr-lp 101 / 12 tracks / 1980
Detroit compilation with Cinecyde (great Detroit punk, more rock influence than on their early 7”s), The Twenty-Seven (good, powerful punk rock with a keyboard), The Cubes (cool wave/punk rock, first song has a weird sounding Farfisa keyboard), Mark Norton (good Detroit rock/punk), Service (angular wave/punk rock, still good), The Ivories (detroit rock/r’n’r with a strong punk edge, OK), and Rushlow-King Combo (melodic guitar rock, but not bad). Good & interesting selection. [7]
Detroit-Sampler mit Cinecyde (rockiger als die frühen 7”s, aber trotzdem sehr guter Detroit-Punk), The Twenty-Seven (kraftvoller Punk Rock mit Rock-Einfluß und spärlich eingesetztem Keyboard, gut!), The Cubes (cooler Wave/Punk Rock mit absolut schräger Farfisa-Orgel beim ersten Song), Mark Norton (kühler Detroit-Rock/Punk, gut), Service (etwas schräger Wave/Punk-Rock, aber gut), The Ivories (Stark angepunkter Detroit-Rock/R’n’R, nicht übel), und Rushlow-King Combo (Melodischer Gitarrenrock, nicht schlecht). Viel gute und interessante Musik.
