Feat. Lou Barlow and J. Mascis of Deep Wound. Homestead repressings add “Jr.” to the band name on cover etc. and the extra song “Bulbs of Passion” at the end. 2000 made of the Baked Goods LP, 500 each on black, white, purple + one more color. All 2005 reissues add a live version of Does it Float at the end; Japanese CD has two additional live tracks, Minor Threat and Gargoyle.

First release by the proto grunge superstars, softer and more psychedelic than their later releases. Not bad, but the energy is missing somehow. (TB) [6]

Die erste LP des Trios aus Boston kommt wesentlich softer und hippiemäßiger als ihr späteres Schaffen. Einige Songs lassen die Entwicklung vorausahnen, der Rest ist mir dann doch zu weinerlich. Im Großen und Ganzen nicht schlecht, aber ich vermisse die Energie der späteren Platten. (TB)
