Two pressings of the first version called “Royal Police”, 500 made of each; #1 has the “Imported from…” note on the front sleeve, #2 doesn’t (SmS). Limited “White Noise Tour” poster sleeve with some copies. Second original version (different sleeve, 4000 made) is called Disco Sucks, same mix + same pressing tool as for original Royal Police 7”. 1992 bootleg has the Royal Police sleeve. White labels, xeroxed cover sheets. 1993 AT reissue to counter the bootleg. Kenneth Montgomery (Dim Wit) o.d.’d on heroin in late 1994.
Their first 7”, rough and raw punk rock, without their later rock influence, but with a lot of energy and drive. A classic. (Their drummer Chuck Biscuits played in the following bands (among others!!): DOA, Circle Jerks, The Weirdos, Fear, Black Flag, The Misfits (just helped out), Danzig, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Subhumans, Descendents. Quite impressive, huh?) [9]
Klassiker.
